About this project
Project description
Patagonia Verde restores degraded grazing land in southern Argentina through climate-resilient afforestation. The project converts overgrazed pastures into productive, biodiverse forest landscapes that store carbon and create local jobs.
Working in close partnership with provincial authorities, CIEFAP and local landowners, we are establishing native and well-adapted species across thousands of hectares. The project is currently undergoing third-party certification.
Beyond carbon, Patagonia Verde delivers measurable co-benefits: soil stabilisation, watershed protection, and habitat for native species including the Andean condor (Aguila Geranoatus melanoleucus).
